はじめまして！こんにちわ！現在、千葉県の大学に通っている林原成治(キャンプネーム︰じぞう チェリー)です。
小学生から高校生まで花山キャンプとつまごいスキーキャンプにキャンパーとして参加、大学生になってからは花山キャンプやつまごいスキーキャンプのカウンセラーとして参加させていただいてます。
私が幼少研のキャンプに参加するきっかけになったのは親ですが、毎年参加し続けたのは
キャンプが自然を楽しくしてくれてたこと、何よりも3B(3バカ)と呼ばれていた良友の存在です。(今回のリレーコラムも3Bの友達が持ちかけてくれたものです。)キャンプに参加するとカウンセラーも含め初めて会う人も久しぶりに会う人もキャンプを通してすぐに仲が良くなりました。私を含めある3人が3Bと呼ばれていたのですが、カウンセラーを困らせることで有名だった3Bの残りのメンバーとは特に仲が良かったです。イタズラばかりする3人で大人達を困らせては、親宛ての報告書にキャンプでの生活を書かれて親に怒られていました。今となっては最高の思い出です。コロナが流行ってることもあり最近はキャンプのメンバーと会えてませんがメールやLINEをして連絡をとりあっています。話していると自然とキャンプの話になることが多いですが笑
私にとってはキャンプは何物にも代え難いものです。私を形作っていく上で重要なピースだった思います。
カウンセラーとしてキャンプに参加するようになってからは自分のすること一つ一つに責任感を強く持つようになったと思います。カウンセラーとして初めて参加したときはカウンセラーの行動一つでキャンパーの行動も変わってくるので不安でいっぱいでしたがあの時に勇気をだして参加したおかげで学校生活がより充実しています。将来の目標も立ち、今では自分の目指す道に行くために薬剤師の資格をとろうと奮闘しています。
最後に、私にとってとても大切な存在であるキャンプがこれから参加するキャンパーやカウンセラーの皆さんにも大切な存在であり続けるようにして行きたいです。
自然とキャンプはキャンパーだけでなくカウンセラーも成長させてくれると思います。
