7月月例会

日時：2021年7月18日

場所：幼少年キャンプ研究会事務所

参加者：ゆっきー　はる　ももたろう

今回は登山におけるファーストエイドについて学びました。
まずはファーストエイドの基本知識から。登山中の怪我は軽傷から重傷まで様々なケースが考えられます。また、頭、胴体、四肢など部位によっても処置が変わります。いかに傷病者の症状を判断できるかが肝になるわけです。


実技では登山中の、特に四肢の怪我を想定して練習をしました。ここで必須になるアイテムがサムスプリントです。平たく言えば曲げやすいアルミニウムの板です。サムスプリントを患部の辺りにあてがう事で関節を固定することができます。

そしてもう一つのアイテムである包帯をTシャツから作っていきます。自分の服をハサミでザクザク切っていくのは中々新鮮な体験でした。包帯を作り終えたら足を固定します。

四肢の処置は1人では難しいので傷病者と協力しながら進めること、包帯の巻く強さを確認してあげることなど傷病者と協力することが大事だと感じました。
今後は自分もカウンセラーとなりキャンパーを指導する立場となるので、あらゆる状況においても冷静に行動できるようにますます勉強していきたいと思います。
