メンバー紹介　森田智里

みなさんはじめまして！森田智里です。

初対面の方でも「ちぃ〜」って呼んでくれたら嬉しいです。よろしくお願いします！

CUの皆さん、その関係者の方々にもほとんどお会いしたことがなく、話したこともないので、まずは自己紹介させてください。

 

私は愛知県の春日井市出身です。子供の頃から里山で暮らし、母と散歩しながら野草を取りに行ったり、おじいちゃんとたけのこや椎茸を取りに行ったり、友達とは川で魚を捕まえ、山でかくれんぼして遊んでいました。イナゴや蜂の子なんかも食卓で出るような、ばりばりの田舎育ちです。

 

そんな私が野外の道に興味を持ったきっかけが母の存在です。母は、近くの少年自然の家で野外活動の指導者をしています。いつも楽しそうに仕事の出来事を話してくれたり、野草や鳥、虫、夜には外に出て星座の話もしてくれて、母のおかげで小さい頃から自然が大好きでした。その頃から私は、将来母のような仕事がしたい！と思っていました。

私が野外指導者としての道に踏み込んだのは、大学の時です。地元の友達は県内の大学を受験するなか、野外の指導者として学べるところに行きたい！と滋賀県にある「びわこ成蹊スポーツ大学」に入学し、”野外スポーツコース”に所属しました。

山と琵琶湖に挟まれた環境でマリンスポーツや登山、キャンプの授業があり指導者としての知識やスキルも学べました。何より、野外が大好きなメンバー(※ヤガラー)達と尊敬する先生方に出会い、共に経験し学べたことは自分にとって財産になりました。

そして先生方の知り合いがバクさんで、何度かお会いしたこともありました。

大学4年の夏に、ゼミの先生が「ちぃこんなのあるよ！」と教えていただいたのがWEAコースです。約2週間、東北の山での生活でしたが本当に濃い学びと成長が得られる経験でした。

(これについて話すと2時間以上かかります)

 

今年の春から、石川県能登半島に住んでおり「国立能登青少年交流の家」という場所で働いています。いつでも海と山を感じれる環境で、ストレスフリーな日々を送っています。野外指導者としてこれからもさらに成長して、次の世代に伝えていけるように学んでいます。CUのみなさんとお会いできるときを楽しみにしています！近くに来ることがあれば、ぜひ能登に遊びに来てくださいね。

  2753. Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
