メンバー紹介　越生寛子

こんにちは！東京でOLやってます、社会人2年目の越生寛子（キャンプネーム：こっしー）です。出身は神戸です。2019年の花山キャンプBコースにカウンセラーとして参加させていただいていました。

私は高校2年から大学4年生までの間、神戸YMCAでのボランティアで、キャンプカウンセラーをしていました。主な活動拠点は、香川県の小豆島からあの有名なエンジェルロードを渡った先にある「余島」という無人島でした。私の大学生活はほぼキャンプ中心の生活でした。週末はデイキャンプやトレーニングで予定が埋まり、夏休みはずっと余島にいました。みんなで歌を歌ったり、焚き火を囲んで語り合ったり、、、あとは雨の日にテントに響く雨音や、登山のあとにお風呂につかる瞬間が好きです。そして何より、自然の中で仲間とたくさんの挑戦をしながら、本気で笑ったり悩んだり、感情が忙しくて、でも幸せで、だからキャンプが大好きです。

大学3年生のときに、神戸YMCAのディレクターに声をかけてもらってLNTマスターエデュケーターコースに参加しました。そこでばくさんと出会いました。そして、大学4年の夏に花山キャンプに参加させていただきました。

私が花山キャンプに参加させていただいたのはたった一度きりでしたが、それは私にとって強烈な出来事でした。壮大で豊かな自然、逞しく元気で力強いキャンパーたち、柔軟でリーダーシップのあるカウンセラーやスタッフたちに、もう圧倒されっぱなしでした。その中で私は何もできずに終わってしまい、とても悔しかったです。でも「もし自分に子どもができたら絶対に花山に送り出したい」と心の底から思うくらい、花山キャンプは魅力的で、人を成長させるキャンプだと感じました。

CUはまだ直接会ったことがない方がほとんどかと思いますが、いつか一緒に活動できる日が楽しみです！これからよろしくお願いします！
