WEAJ＆LNTJカンファレンスにボランティアスタッフとして参加してきました！
まりなと私はそのなかでワークショップも担当させていただいたので、自分の感じたことを整理する意味も込めて、主にその感想をここで共有したいと思います。

上記の内容で、LNTのワークショップをやりました。
75分間の枠のなかで10個のティーチングをやるということで、時間配分がとても難しかったです。とにかく何があっても止まらないことを意識しました。
まりなとはあまり多く打ち合わせの時間を取れなかったけれど、やはりいろんなキャンプを乗り越えてきた仲間なだけあって、咄嗟でもいい連携がとれたと思います。

参加者のなかには、LNTをよく知っている人や普段から野外のフィールドに身を置いている人もいれば、LNTを知らない人もいました。

反省点としては、LNTを知っている人や野外を専門としている人にとっては、ひとつひとつのティーチングの設定やオチの深さが不十分だったなと思いました。また、参加者から出てくる意見や質問に対して、その場で適切にコメントすることができず、ふわっとしたコメントになってしまった部分もありました。あと、とにかく回すことを意識するあまり、自分が喋りすぎてしまったティーチングもありました。

よかったところとしては、「体験的に協同的に学べて楽しかった」「話し方や雰囲気、一生懸命さがよかった」「自分がティーチングする立場になったときに活かしたい」などのフィードバックをいただけたことです。また、私たちの姿を見て「こういう人に育てていきたい」と言ってくださった参加者もいて、嬉しかったし、身の引き締まる思いにもなりました。

私は野外の専門家ではないし、ウィルダネスでの経験や知識はとても少ないです。LNTのティーチングをやるときはいつもそのことで引け目を感じ、「本当にこれで、私でいいのかな」と思うことが多かったです。しかし、シンプルな7原則に基づいたLNTは、経験値に関係なくどこでも誰でも実践できるのが魅力だなと改めて実感することができました。
もちろん経験や知識があるに越したことはないけれど、私なりにやれることをやっていきたいと思いました。
今も北海道でのLNTコース/ブースのお手伝いで新千歳に向かう飛行機のなかでこれを書いています！いい経験をさせていただいてることに感謝して、頑張りたいと思います。
